-NEWS-
As you can see, I have finished the new website...well, almost. I will be adding product pictures and debugging, but the major work is done. If you find a problem, be sure to email me and let me know. I hope customers will find shopping easy, and they like the new design. I know I will enjoy being able to update and ad new products easier.
As for the move to ID...it's got its ups and downs, but things are progressing. I have found several places to harvest wands including some new trees like cherry and horse chestnut. I'm still getting workshop areas set up after several set backs when we first moved in. Looks like I'll be setting up a lot as I go. Still having a little trouble finding a supplier for the granite, but I have lots of stock still and a couple of leads on where I can get what I need. I also have a few new ideas for things...

-About Witch Works-
I've been working with leather since 1999. After initially being inspired by attending renaissance faires, I started making my own leather items. I began studying stage combat, and later started working for a company as a road manager selling their wares, as well as a few of my own works, at renaissance faires. Seeing what I was making for myself, other people from stage combat and patrons at faires began requesting similar items, and my custom leather work took off. While working on the road, I found people in the pagan community also requesting items for magickal use. As a pagan myself, I have an insider's understanding about the needs, properties and uses for magickal items. I was encouraged to further pursue this venture on a larger scale after being approached by Raven Grimassi and Stephanie Taylor at a workshop in Connecticut, when they saw my custom work for a local coven. A few months later, Witch Works was born.

I have always been good with my hands, and grew up learning woodworking and craftsmanship from my dad. I have continued to work with local shops on new product ideas based on needs, desires, and inspiration from the pagan community. This has led to the development of the array of other items including granite altars and ritual items, wands, runes, candle and incense holders and more. I hope you find what you are looking for and if you don't, let me know ...maybe I can make it.
Thanks for stopping by ...Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again. |
